Is modding supported?
Last verified 2026-10-14
CommunityAs of 14 October 2026 I have not found an official “mods are supported” line. Steam Workshop for mods was not open on the app page I checked. Blueprint sharing is a different system.
The checked Steam listing, Frontier Workshop page and help FAQ do not establish a released mod-tool programme. That is a dated source limit, not a statement about every possible unofficial modification.
Workshop is not mods
Frontier Workshop lets you share parks and blueprints across platforms. That is official. A Nexus-style mod loader is not something the help FAQ describes.
Questions people ask
Will Planet Zoo 2 have modding?
Future support is unknown. No official mod-tool programme was established in the sources checked on 14 October 2026.
Can I share buildings?
Yes, through Frontier Workshop, which is official sharing rather than modding.
