Frontier's Update 1.0.4 notice lists crash and stability fixes. Its scheduled release is not proof that your platform has installed it or that every crash is resolved.
Check the build and record the failure
Check your store's download queue and the game's version display against the 1.0.4 announcement. The stated 14 October 2026, 14:00 BST rollout was not independently confirmed on every platform.
Compare OS, CPU, GPU, 16 GB RAM, DirectX 12 and 40 GB available space with the published PC requirements. Windows 11 is recommended; Windows 10 is listed with Frontier's warning that ongoing compatibility cannot be guaranteed.
Record the exact message or unexpected exit, platform, installed build, mode and reproducible action. If only Franchise fails, preserve that fact; it does not by itself diagnose a login problem or rule out a crash.
